At Ruchi we have tried to put the past behind us and move into the present, the Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine served here is an amalgam of old and new. The menu is a stunning repertoire of favorite Indian dishes of the last 30 years, our 200 year old style of cooking – known as the legendary Dum Pukt Indian cuisine – was created by the moguls and is deemed so spectacular that until now only a handful of places in the world were able to successfully serve it. All of our dishes are 100% home style cooking instead of the traditional which was created for British taste buds; the results are a truly memorable ambience that goes well with Ruchi Bangladeshi Cuisine.With regards to the culinary offerings the restaurant has an outstanding menu – overseen by none other than the award winning Abdullah Islam. Chef Abdullah Islam – The Spelthorne National curry chef winner of 2002 – combines his own exotic creation with the classical favorites by using this vast experience to carefully select the best and finest ingredients.Our recipes have been handed down through the generations, and we’re constantly trying to improve them whilst retaining the traditional qualities and flavours. Naturally we only use fresh chicken and lamb and our spices are fresh and separately mixed so that they retain their individual and original flavours.
